Let me slow down
This series is an exploration of time, not only chronology, but as the environment. How siblings emerging from the same roots are shaped by entirely different atmospheres, different versions of the same parent. The firstborn arrives into one rhythm of life, the second into another. In this way, time quietly sculpts differences, not only between generations but within the same family.
And yet, beneath these differences, there remains something unbreakable. It is not about likeness but about recognition. Even in contrast, there is a quiet knowing. Even in dissonance, a shared origin hums beneath the surface.
The paintings unfold like fragments of memory. I use text not only as a language but also as a visual form — as a drawing.
These texts become vibrant glyphs — ambiguous, instinctive, and raw. They point to the ways we try to say what we feel before we know how to speak it. Like memory. Like time itself.
